Information That May Be Collected
Search terms entered in a sponsored search box pass to the third-party provider that operates it, not to a Live Oak County government office. A message sent to the site may include the sender's name, email address, and message text. Servers and service providers may automatically log an IP address, browser type, device data, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, and broad location information. Cookies or similar storage may remember preferences, measure visits, support advertising, and help detect abuse.
How Information Is Used
Collected data may be used to operate and secure the site, answer messages, diagnose errors, measure which pages are useful, limit misuse, and improve navigation. It may also support advertising and partner searches. Contact messages are not a route for obtaining jail records and should not contain sensitive identifiers.
Outside Services and Recipients
Data may be received by search partners, hosting and security providers, analytics vendors, and advertising networks according to their own policies. Information may also be disclosed when required by a valid legal order, to protect rights or safety, or to investigate abuse. Links to the Live Oak County Sheriff, TDCJ, BOP, courts, and other sites lead to separate systems whose privacy practices are not controlled here.
Cookies and Browser Choices
Most browsers allow cookies to be blocked or deleted. Doing so may change how search, preferences, analytics, or advertising functions work. Privacy controls supplied by a third-party provider should be used for data held by that provider.
Security and Retention
Reasonable safeguards may be used, but no website, email system, or internet transmission is completely secure. Data is kept only as long as reasonably needed for operations, legal duties, dispute handling, and security. This site does not promise a risk-free transmission.
Children and Data Rights
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. Depending on applicable law, a user may ask to access, correct, or delete personal data held by the site, or object to certain processing. Requests should identify the relevant message or interaction without adding sensitive records. Government jail and court records must be addressed to their official custodian under Texas law.
Changes and Questions
This notice may change as site services or legal requirements change. The posted version takes effect when published. Privacy questions can be routed through the Contacts page.
